Lots going on all over the site at the moment with roofworks continuing with sealing and insulating prior to roof tile being fitted. On the ground floor the slab for the terraces and base of the pool / roof of the underground car park was poured and inside on the ground and first floors, setting out has begun for the walls and the drainage works The formwork for the stairs is also being prepared for pouring the concrete base.
The structural steelwork used for underpinning the original facade of the building was removed now that it is no longer needed and the external facade has been stripped back in preparation for spraying with insulation. Internally, the external walls are being prepped for the sheets of insulation to be attached. The building will have an A energy rating so the insulation is a crucial part of the building structure.
